What's a secure site?  Well, when you are shopping on the Internet and you make a purchase, you are usually redirected to a secure site so that any information you furnish is protected from prying eyes.

I have always been amazed at how many people will not make Internet purchases since they are worried that someone will be able to get some of their personal information.  Truth is, a secure Internet site is much more secure that giving your information out on the telephone.  I purchase most of my computer stuff on the Internet.  It's convenient, usually a good price, and delivery is very fast.  All you need is a few minutes to compare prices and then you just give your credit card info and it's on it's way.

The people who are interested in getting your personal information have a real tough time trying to get anything from an online transaction.  The telephone, on the other hand, is very insecure and you should be very careful when providing any personal information to someone on the phone.  A lot of work has gone into setting up secure transactions and you should feel free to save some money and purchase online.
